I know, no stamping again. I used the direct to paper on the old olive cardstock and then used a stipple brush and shimmer paint. As you can see again the layout is very simple! There is a ton of room for pictures!! Have a great night!

Stamp set: With all my Heart, clear mount
I did the direct to paper technique on both the chocolate chip and pretty in pink. Then on the pretty in pink I randomly stamped all my flowers using the melon mambo, close to cocoa and pretty in pink inks. I used the scallop edge punch on the chocolate chip dsp. On this one I included the background mats for the pictures!
Good Sunday afternoon all! I am a little late posting today! But with the Canada/USA hockey game and the Nascar race on at the same time it was a little busy on our tv! So better late than never! These next 2 posts are a gift that I have been working on so there aren't any pictures on them. Enjoy!

Happy Friday everyone! Well here in the Great White North it is snowing...... again! We actually have a snow drift in our driveway that is about 4' tall, thank goodness for 4 wheel drive. I am still contemplating how exactly I will get out of the drive today. So, it is a snow day for the kids! So far Aubrey is mad because I won't take her to school, Travis is upset because him and Owen had a field trip today to go watch a play-of course I had to pay for those, Austin is quite happy to be watching the Discovery Channel and Owen is just plain thankful that he doesn't have to go to school today! How is that for a mixed bag?? Anyway, on to this mornings card. Look familiar?? Yes, I did post one pretty much the same a bit ago but this is different colors. I had a request for a class, they loved the card but like purple better so I made a quick change-a-roo and voila!

I just can't get enough of the rich razzleberry!! How about you? Using these colors gives the card a completely different feel. The main things I did on this card are the paper crumpling and paper piercing(I free handed it). I hope your Friday is a little less snowy than mine! I will be back later with some more scrapbooking! Yes I know, I am posting again today! Can you tell that the kids(well most of the kids) are back to school and I have a brain again?? Well today I jumped over to Heather Summer's Blog , haven't been there in a week or so, because she always has gorgeous projects and I found out that she is doing a Sunday Sketch Challenge! So, I have been attempting to do more boy or men cards. Why is it so hard to do??? Anyway, I think this one is pretty boyish. My strips hanging down are approx. 1-1/2" and the chocolate chip is only 1/8" larger. I stamped my little chickie with chocolate chip on the crushed currie cardstock and on whisper white. I cut out the currie one, adhered it to the white and used the 1-3/8" circle punch to cut them out. I also did something I have never done before!
I did the inside!!!! That was inspired by Heather and Gretchen! Let me know what you think!
Ok! Yes I am a little late posting this one!! I was trying to post it yesterday but my computer did not want to upload this picture. This again is a color scheme I like to use alot! Let me know what you think.

Stamp set: Garden Whimsy, Whimsical Words(clear mount) from the SAB flyer, Teeny Tiny Wishes
I stamped the butterfly using the craft ink, sprinkled with iridescent ice emboss and used the heat tool. For the circles I cut them both out using the Big Shot, adhered them together, attached to the dsp and using my scissors cut off the top. Then the whole piece can be attached to the card base. Have a great day!
Ok! Here is the same layout & stamp set in a different color scheme! I surprised the scrapbooking club at my kid's school last Friday and brought them a page layout to do. I had so much fun as did they! That was followed by a Friday night scrapbooking class for kids, short notice and we all had a blast! Let me know if you like seeing the same layout with different color schemes and stamps!

For this layout I used the scallop edge punch on the narrow strip of old olive dsp. I stamped a bunch of hearts and cut them out using my paper snips. I used the Big Shot for my journaling box. These are pictures of the kids on Daytona Beach, they were having so much fun that day despite being sandblasted! We had to leave baby Travis in the van, that tells you how long ago these were taken!!
Good Thursday morning everyone! I have declared today Scrapbooking Thursday! I have a ton of pages just waiting to be shown. So here is number one. This is one of the pages we did at my free scrapbooking class last week.
Colors: perfect plum, old olive, kraft, very vanilla, pale plum
Accessories: 5/8" very vanilla grosgrain ribbon, stampin' sponges, iridescent ice emboss and heat tool, old olive textured cardstock
Stamp set: Vintage Vogue
I stamped my flower images on very vanilla using VersaMark and embossed with the iridescent ice powder and heat tool. Using the stampin' sponges I colored with the pale plum, perfect plum and old olive for the emboss resist technique. When you are done coloring use a paper towel and polish your flowers to take off any excess ink. And that is how quick and easy scrapbooking can be! Stamp set: Inspired by Nature, Teeny Tiny Wishes
I crumpled my basic grey card stock alot to give it a nice distressed look. I cut my white Top Note out and trimmed off the edge before stamping! Using the one side of the stamp I inked it up with old olive and then stamped, stamped and stamped to give the grass a foreground and background kind of effect. Using the old olive marker I inked up the leaves and stems of the flowers. I used the sponge daubers for the rich razzleberry and basic grey on the flowers and then stamped.
