Melon Mambo Flower Box!

Ok!  I know three posts in one morning!  Yesterday was my first day alone(all the kids went to school) in like 3 weeks and my brain was on fire!  Not literally!!  

Colors:  melon mambo, whisper white

Accessories:  sweet treats cup, large oval punch, melon mambo polka dot grosgrain ribbon, medium cello bag, Big Shot with the Fancy Favor Box die, melon mambo designer prints paper, shimmer paint, 1-3/4" circle punch

Stamp set:  Sweet Centers

After cutting out my Favor Box I cut a hole using the 1-3/4" circle punch in one side.  I filled my sweet treats cup with the Breast Cancer M&Ms that I bought the other day.  I stamped and cut out my flower petals and dabbed them with shimmer paint.  For the white petals I used the large oval punch(snip one end off).  After I secured my treat cup I adhered all of the petals and then assembled the box.  Inside my box is a cello bag filled with Hershey's Kisses and tied with the polka dot ribbon!

 

Halloween Basket!

Good morning everyone!  Wow, so I have to tell you!  This morning I was up a little earlier than normal and it was still dark out!!  What a shock to the system.  Do you remember that comercial where the woman is sitting at her desk and it is dark outside she looks at the clock to find out it is like 4:15 and starts crying??  Makes me laugh every time I see it because it is so true!!  Anyway enough of my ramblings this morning and on to today's project.  

Colors:  pumpkin pie, old olive, basic black, perfect plum

Accessories:  Big Shot, pumpkin and pumpkin faces die, Basket die, grosgrain ribbon in basic black, perfect plum and pumpkin pie, crimper, Cast a Spell dsp

Using my Basket die and Big Shot I cut out the front and back of the basket, then I made a small box for the middle.  I used dsp for my pumpkin and attached his face.  For the chocolates, these are the York Peppermint Pattie wrappers solution that I came up with yesterday!  Basically they are just a chocolate bar wrapper in a smaller size.  I cut squares of dsp 4"x4" and using sticky strip I put them around the patties.  Using my crimper I did the ends.  Pretty simple huh??  This was really quick to put together and it holds 4 peppermint patties!  Just think, change your dsp and make it for any holiday!  Enjoy.

 

Fancy Favor Halloween Box!

Good morning all!  I know, it's morning and I am posting for you!  I finally got the Fancy Favor Box die for the Big Shot, and I am so happy that I did!  So I was playing happily yesterday.  This is a gift for my friend Cindy, she works too much to be on my blog so I can show you!  It is filled with York Peppermint Patties.  Would you believe they changed the packaging for the patties?  They are not in the nice little circle packages anymore, they are in a sealed package!  So, I had already punched everything and made do with what I had.  I do have another idea for them....  Wait and see.  

Colors:  pumpkin pie, basic black, perfect plum, old olive

Accessories:  scallop circle punch, 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" circle punches, Big Shot with the Fancy Favor Box die, Cast a Spell designer series paper, perfect plum 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, crimper, silver brads

Stamp set:  Little Boo

These are the treats inside the box, I know the picture is a little blurry, but you can see the silver sticking out where it shouldn't have.  But they are still cute!  So using the stamp set and basic black ink I stamped a bunch of ghosts and popped them out with my 1-1/4" circle punch, matted with the 1-3/8" circle punch and then the scallop circle.  I did this for both sides of my patties.  For the stuffing inside the box I crimped my colors of cardstock and cut thin strips.  For my handle I cut a strip of basic black and attached it using the silver brads.  Have a wonderful day!!

 

Boo Container!

So here is what used to be a mini M&Ms container!  Would you believe 6 Hershey's Kisses fit in there???  I know I didn't either! 

Colors:  pumpkin pie, perfect plum, old olive, basic black

Accessories:  1-1/4" & 1-3/8" circle punches, 1" circle punch(it is on the top to cover the big M), basic black 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, natural hemp, Crop-a-Dile, cast a spell designer series paper

I used a scrap piece of the dsp that was just sitting on my table!  I also used sticky strip to adhere it to the container!  The stamp I used is the Little Boo(not sure if that is the proper name),  on the very back page of the catalogue.  Now, who should I give this one to??  Have a great night!! 

Snowflake Baggie!

Good Friday morning everyone!  It certainly looks like fall now around here!  A good wind last night blew almost all of the leaves off the trees!  I had fun making this little package last week.  I just love having the ability to decorate my own cello bags, so easy and fun to do!  Enjoy!

Colors:  bermuda bay, basic black

Accessories:  medium cello bag, StazOn white ink, bermuda bay polka dot grosgrain ribbon, Crop-a-Dile, Big Shot with the Scallop Circle die and Clear Circle die, iridescent ice emboss powder, curly label punch

I used the stamp set Christmas Punch which is a Hostess Level 2 set.  To ink the stamp I used my basic black and bermuda bay stampin' markers.  I stamped some snowflakes with bermuda bay ink and embossed some using VersaMark and iridescent ice emboss for the topper.  Hope you like!  Have a great day!!
 

Itty Bitty Halloween Characters!

Now do you see what I mean about having too much fun??  Actually I am pretty sure I giggled the entire time I was making these!  Inside these packages are the little fun sized Hershey bars.  

Colors:  close to cocoa, chocolate chip(wolfman), old olive, basic black(witch), basic black(bat), whisper white, creamy caramel(mummy) and they all use basic black and whisper white

Accessories:  1/2" circle punch for all the eyes, nose and mouth for the wolfman, nose and mouth for the witch, scallop oval and wide oval punches for the bat wings and the boho flower punch for the bat's teeth, the Crop-a-dile made all the pupils and the witch's wart

These are too stinkin' cute I do have to say!!  The picture below is the witches so you all can see the size of the minis!  Have a wonderful evening!!

 

Ooh, a Witch!

Ok, so I have been having way too much fun today!  And what is Halloween without a witch??  This again was inspired over on Gretchen Barron's blog and then again on Heather's blog so I had to try it!  I hope you like!

Colors:  old olive, basic black, whisper white

Accessories:  wide oval punch, 1-1/4" circle punch, 3/4" circle punch, 1/2" circle punch, Big Shot, Top Note die

For the hat and hair I winged it!  I believe the hair strips are about a 1/2".
 

Count Dracula!

I do have to say a big "SORRY" for not posting for so long!  When one of my downline called to make sure that everyone was indeed ok, made me realize!!  I do have some Christmas projects to post for all of you as well over the next couple of days!  Anyway, here is my version of Count Dracula.

Colors:  pale plum, basic black, whisper white

Accessories:  Big Shot, Top Note die, wide oval punch, round tab punch, 1-1/4" circle punch, 3/4" circle punch, photo corners punch(bet you are wondering where I used that aren't you?) dab of real red ink on a stampin' sponge, white gel marker

For Count Dracula I sponged with pale plum ink along the edges.  I also gave his eyes a lift with my white gel marker.  I used the wide oval punch to make his hair.  And the photo corners punch, this made his teeth!  Since I am not that great at cutting in a straight line freehand, I needed some help!  I punched out the images in whisper white and cut off the tips.  Worked like a charm!  Enjoy!!
 

The Wolfman!

Good morning all and thanks for stopping by!  Everyone around here has been sick for almost 2 weeks off and on!!  Or should I say the kids are taking turns!!  Most are on the mend now though.  Makes mom's day a little hectic to say the least.  I have a couple of Halloween creatures to show you this morning.  Firstly we have the Wolfman, I just love him!  Let me know what you think.

I also used my stampin' sponges with the close to cocoa ink pad to age this project slightly.  The mouth is drawn with my journaling marker!  He is really quick and easy to put together.  My hunny had a suggestion for what to do with all my characters, as soon as I put it together I will have pictures for you all.  Have a great day!!  

Frankenstein Box!

Wow!  Is it Friday already??  Where did this week go?  So excited, Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada!  Lots of food, friends, family and just plain hanging out!!  I had better remember to put the turkey in before bed tonight!!!  Anyway, here is my spin on Frankenstein!  Saw this over on Gretchen Barron's blog and loved it.  So stinkin' cute!!  I have another Halloween character or two to try today so keep posted!  Enjoy!

This is very quick to put together!  I also used my stamping sponges and old olive ink to edge all of my pieces.  The hair was done free hand with my paper snips! Here is the back of the box!  I didn't think to do this the other night!  Have a great day!!
