Wagon Full of Fun!

  Here is another project for tonight!  This time I used the new Wagon Full of Fun stamp set, it is so cute!

Colors:  tangerine tango, old olive, bashful blue, close to cocoa, chocolate chip

I used watercolor paper and stamped it with the cupcake.  Using craft ink(except tangerine) and my aqua painters I watercolored.  I outlined the cupcake wrapper using my chocolate chip stampin' marker.  Using 2-way glue and dazzling diamonds glitter I made the icing sparkley!  I used a bit of tangerine tango dsp and a few silver brads.  Have a great day!!

Big Shot Dasies Card!

  Hey All!  So sorry about my long absence!  I have been under the weather so to speak.  I have tests this week so hopefully I will be on the mend soon.  I have literally been on the couch more than I can handle!!  So, tonight I am on my way to Windsor to hang out with the ladies there.  Here is one of the projects we will be doing!  I got out the Big Shot for this one! 

Colors:  regal rose, rose red, kiwi kiss, whisper white, chocolate chip

I used the raspberry tart designer series paper.  The dies I used are the Flower Dasies and Lots of Tags.  I also used a kiwi kiss corduroy button/brad for my flower center.  The stamp set is the Really Retro.  Enjoy!

80s Night!

  Just so you all know I will be scrappin' these, but they are so funny I had to share!!  Top photo is Travis with his mohawk!!  He insisted.  Too much fun!  The girls weren't too willing at first, but slowly got more into it.  We watched Valley Girl.  Anyone remember that movie??  And followed that with Footloose!  Still love that movie! The next picture is of Jessica, love that crimper!  Funny thing, Cindy and I both had the same crimper back in the day.  Did they only make one in a few different colors?  Mine was pink! Next we have Taylor!  Don't you love the fullness of her hair?  I crimped the whole thing except the bangs which were curled and teased by Cindy!  And then we have Aubrey!  She has the teased bangs along with the crimped pony tails!  Now the funniest thing is how reluctant they were to get it done in the first place, now they want us to do their hair this way for school on Monday!  I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday!  I will have some scrapbooking for you in awhile.  I am supposed to be doing my taxes(according to my husband) so as long as it looks like I have been doing something  I should be alright!  Until then!

Top Note Purse!

  Before I tell you about today's project I want to tell you all what my friend Cindy and I are doing with our girls tonight!  Do any of you remember the hair style of the 80s??  Yes, dating myself!  Well, we decided to show the girls what it was like to be a teenager getting ready for school in the 80s, cause you know they have it so tough!  Hehe!  I will most definately have pictures for you all tomorrow!  Anyway, on to this sweet purse.  Mine is filled with candies but you could also fill it with 3x3 gift cards!

Colors:  baja breeze, chocolate chip

I used two different dies for this one, Top Note and Scallop Circle.  I cut 2 top note dies using the dsp Parisian Breeze and the scallop circle with baja breeze.  To glue everything together I used my new fav, Tombo glue!  This actually was quick and easy!  If you would like the box directions(the box in the middle that is)  let me know.  The only extras I put on this time were 5/8" grosgrain, 2 silver brads and a chocolate corduroy brad.  To hold the front flap shut either use a mini glue dot or a piece of velcro!   

Kid Rock Tickets!!!

OK!!  So, I have some very exciting, non-stamping, news today!!!  Todd and I told ourselves that we would try to go see Kid Rock if he came close enough to us since we missed Toronto last summer.  So, I was surfing around as you know and joined the KRC(Kid Rock Congregation) which is his fan club.  Never done that before in my life!  But, anyway the tickets went on sale yesterday evening.  And guess what!  I managed to get VIP tickets in the 5TH ROW for the Darien Lake concert!!!  I am still beside myself, some of you know how much I love Kid Rock.  Wow, can you imagine what I will be like when I finally get to go in July???  So, my apologies for my lack of post yesterday-I was a little on edge all day long.  I will have a post for you all in just a bit!  I hope everyone is enjoying their day!

We are into day what 4, 5, 50??  of Spring Break and I have resorted to my daughter's MP3 player to drown out the noise!

Botanical Blooms Card!

  Happy St. Paddy's Day everyone!  Are you all wearing green???  I am so excited today!  Firstly it is a beautiful day!  And secondly I just found out this morning that Kid Rock is playing at Six Flags Darien Lake, which is just outside of Buffalo!  I know some of you rolled your eyes, but I love Kid Rock!!  So, as I am now part of the Kid Rock Congregation, I will be pre-purchasing my tickets in the morning!  Anyway!  This card is my downline, Erin's, card from her swaps on Saturday!  Isn't it  cute! 

Colors:  kiwi kiss, apricot appeal, cameo coral, chocolate chip, kraft

The stamp set she used is Botanical Blooms.  Erin also used apricot appeal grosgrain ribbon, scallop edge punch and also the words are from the Trendy Trees stamp set.  Enjoy!

Fifth Avenue Floral Tin!

  So after Christmas I was in my local grocery store grabbing some groceries and I noticed that they had cookie tins on sale.  This is actually a Peak Frean's cookie tin that I got on sale for $3!  Normally they sell for like $8.  I bought the only 2 they had left, ate the cookies and decorated the tins!  How fun!!  Anyway....

Colors:  kiwi kiss, basic grey, not quite navy, bashful blue   

For the flowers on the tin front I used craft and classic ink.  I stamped and embossed with bashful blue craft ink and iridescent ice emboss first,  I always start with my biggest image first, then I stamped with kiwi kiss, then once again stamped and embossed with not quite navy craft ink and iridescent ice.  I also used the new Eyelet Border punch, a 5/16" silver brad and kiwi kiss grosgrain ribbon.  Now are you saying that it doesn't look like kiwi kiss grosgrain???  That is because I learned something cool Saturday at Regionals!  For this I took my ribbon and cut up the one side, hold onto your ribbon at the white stripes and pull outward.  It freys the whole thing and looks really neat!!  I will try to capture some pics for the ribbon technique for you all.  Have a great night!! 

Me Book Scrapbook Pages #2!

  You know how some times you have one of those AhhHaa moments??  Well, we all know I am not the greatest when it comes to computers.  Yesterday while I uploaded Erin's scrapbook page, I noticed it didn't take very long at all like normal.  Normal being like 25 mins or more.  And that got me thinking, wondering if I shrunk my pics before taking them if it made a difference.  I am here to tell you it does!!  I am so proud of myself for figuring that out you have no idea.  I told the kids what I had figured out and they were thrilled, not!  Just looked at me kind of strangely.  Anyway, today's Me Book Pages.

I used a variety of chipboard alphabets to create this along with the Taffy Alphabet.  On the pale plum will be a variety of things I enjoy and what really describes me as a person.  You know, my love for shoes, stamping, shopping...  and the list goes on and on.  Have a great day!  I will be smiling to myself for my accomplishment!

Itty Bitty Buds Card!

  Happy Monday everyone!  Welcome to day 1 of Spring Break!  Everyone is still happyish and not quite bored yet, I am sure that will change soon!  This is a card that one of my downline, Teresa, did for our Regional Seminar on Saturday.  One of the great things about being a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! is the stuff we get to go do!  And while we are there there is card swapping going on all over the place!  An endless resource for new ideas!!  Anyway, didn't she do a great job???

Colors:  bravo burgundy, elegant eggplant, apricot appeal, old olive

She also used some apricot appeal grosgrain ribbon, itty bitty buds and Congrats stamp sets, scallop edge punch.  As well she popped up a few of the flovers with dimensionals!  I hope this inspires all of you today!

Me Book Scrapbook Pages!

As I have said before I used the 2 Sweet Scrappin' Kit to make this album!  These pages I used some bits and pieces along with some of the long borders.  Some of the pictures include my friend Carrie, my sister Bobbie Jo, 3 of the kids, Todd and Travis and Bobbie Jo and my grandma.
