Wow!!  I am right down to the wire on this Weekend Sketch!  Hopefully I get it done in time!  

Colors:  real red, bermuda bay, basic black, whisper white

Accessories:  bermuda bay designer prints paper, build a brad, white StazOn, ornament punch, real red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Merry & Bright rub ons, 3/4" circle punch, 1/2" circle punch

This was quick and fun to put together!  I love the real red, makes it pop don't you think?  For my greeting this time I used some rub ons, you know I don't use those near enough!  Have a wonderful day!!
 

Goodies From Afar!!

Happy Wednesday all!  I don't know about you guys but I think receiving stuff(not bills) in the mail is awesome!  These arrived from my friend Lynette in Colorado!  Made my day.  Huge thanks Lynette!!  In this pack was some things she picked up at Convention for me.  Including a re-useable shopping bag, nail files(in some awesome Stampin' Up! colors), Stampin' Up! pens(there was actually 3 I have one in my office),  a hysterical shot glass(lovingly with the letters SL,UT on the front), a toe ring-yeah, a couple of cards and a postcard!  How fun is that???  I laughed out loud when I pulled out the shot glass!!  And Aubrey has been trying to steal the nail files! Snow Globe Card!

Ok, so I got really side tracked from scrapbooking today!  But I had a lot of fun while doing it!!  Last week at my downline meeting one of the girls brought a snowglobe card, super cute.  I wanted to try my own!  Would love to hear some feedback on this one!!

Colors:  basic black, real red, bermuda bay, whisper white

Accessories:  chocolate chip stampin' marker, 1-3/4", 1/2"  & 1-3/8" circle punches, Crop-a-Dile, black journaler, tag corner punch, black gingham ribbon, window sheet (from the mini can not remember the name, the one with the snowflakes on it), bermuda bay designer prints paper, dazzling diamonds glitter, Big Shot with the Clear Circle die

Weekend Sketch Challenge-Dasher!

So I am not tardy this time for yet another amazing Weekend Sketch from Gretchen Barron!  Love this layout for sure.  

Colors:  soft suede, rose red, bermuda bay

Accessories:  rose red brads, 1-1/4", 1-3/8" & scallop circle punches, soft suede polka dot grosgrain ribbon, Thoroughly Modern designer series paper

This card was quick and completely fun to put together!  This layout could be used for so many different occasions.  I used once again some not so traditional Christmas colors.  Please let me know if you like this one!!  Have a great day!
 

Sparkly & Bright too!

It is kind of drizzly and rainy here today!  Can you think of a better day to scrapbook??  Later today I will have some scrapbooking for you as well!  Now I was telling you the other day how much I am liking this stamp set, I am sure this is not the last card that will be made with it!

Colors:  real red, soft suede, old olive

Accessories:  clear emboss with chocolate chip craft ink, circle scissor plus, 1-3/4" circle punch, paper piercer, rhinestone brad, white gel pen, shimmer paint, Big Shot with Circle Scallop #2 die

Stamp set:  Sparkly & Bright

For the background of this card I used the direct to paper technique and then stippled champagne shimmer paint all over.  I embossed the greeting with the chocolate craft ink and clear emboss.  

Today being Thursday means that Gretchen Barron will have another weekend sketch!  So stay tuned for that and I promise I won't be as tardy this time!!  
 

Big Shot Snowman Card!

Good Thursday morning everyone!  Hope you all are having a great day so far!!  So far, so good here.  Your card for today I saw originally as a box over on Gretchen Barron's blog and fell in love.  How cute is he??  

Colors:  whisper white, basic black, real red, old olive, pumpkin pie

Accessories:  Crop-a-Dile, large and small oval punches, corner rounder, 1/4" real red grosgrain ribbon, white gel pen, 1-3/8" square punch, Big Shot with:  Top Note die, Birds and Blooms die, Snowflake die, Sweetest Stem embosslit

I didn't use any stamp sets this time!  This is a great way to use up some of the scraps you have laying around.  His mouth is punched with the large side hole punch on the Crop-a-dile.  The eyes are the oval punches cut in half, whisper white and basic black.  I used the square punch for the nose and freehanded a  little.  Enjoy

This one my husband likes, guys colors or something he told me.  I was using some leftover dsp from a different project when I came up with it.  Very easy to put together!  I love this little stamp set.  My brain now has a bunch of ideas for it bag toppers, cards, tags...  The list goes on!  Have a great day!
 

2 Cool Dudes Card!

So yesterday I was having alot of fun working most of the day!  Which I do have to say was awesome!  My life is even crazier than just the kittens lately.  Hard to believe I know!  Anyway, one of my friends is away so I am watching her girls and dogs.  So when I went down to work the other night....  Let's just say I finally gave up after the endless texts from one who was still at volleyball and the every 5 seconds of someone standing on the stairs asking me or telling me or whatever!  It's fun although crazy!  Well, on to what I have for you today!

Colors:  ruby red, sahara sand, taken with teal

Accessories:  Holiday Lounge dsp, 1/4" white grosgrain ribbon, ruby red craft ink, iridescent ice emboss powder, silver brads

Stamp set:  2 Cool Dudes

I stamped my image using the craft ink and embossed using the iridescent ice powder.  Gave it that little bit of sparkle!  I am noticing in the picture you can't see the brads very well, if you click on the picture it will be larger in your screen so you can see them.  Enjoy!
 

Crazy Life!

Morning all!  So I know we all know how crazy my house is, 4 kids and 2 dogs.....  For the past month we have had 2 kittens living in my bathroom!  Yes, we only have 1 bathroom if you can imagine.  We live on a farm, barn cats everywhere, and the mom abandoned them when they were about 2 weeks old.  My mohter in law and daughter found them outside, they almost froze to death.  So of course they came into the house, got nursed back to health and I am happy to say today they go to a good home!  Yeah!!  Travis is very allergic and we just couldn't keep them.  They are almost identical, can't really tell them apart!  We have been calling them Tuncis(SNL, Tuncis the driving cat anyone remember that one from the 80s).  2 cats one name!  Anyway, just had to show a picture of them before I post my projects this morning!
